Ho Ho Ho!!! Santa's Elves are hard at work!
Broadway PTO is doing a Santa letter fundraiser this year. We want to keep this top secret and keep everything between the parents and us. We do not want to let the kids in on our behind the scenes elf work.
These letters are only $5 each and will include personal information for each child you sign up. Here is a link to find the Santa questionnaire to provide us with the information to create the letter: Santa Letter
You can email these finished questionnaires to email@example.com You can put them in a VERY SEALED envelope with the code word CANDYCANE written on it, for you student to give to their teacher with cash payment. You can also pay Online below.
The questionnaires need to be returned as soon as possible with a deadline of December 12th. They will be delivered to the kids on December 19th for winter break.
Any questions please email Courtney at fundraising @broadwaypto.org or call/text 509-220-6572

We are looking for new members and volunteers to help us make our events even better. But we understand that kids, work, and extracurricular activities make life really busy and can make it difficult to find time to volunteer. We want to make things easier for you so we have set up volunteer plans with different options so you can pick which is right for your family!
If you only have one hour you can donate this year we will take it! Text #1hour to 44950 to fill out a form on your smart phone and receive text notification instructions before the event you sign up for!
Maybe you don't want to join PTO but you'd like to volunteer for a whole event or maybe even a couple then we have the plan for you! Text #whenIcan to 44950 to fill out a form on your smart-phone and receive text notifications with instructions before the event(s) you sign up for!
It's not too late to join PTO! If you can't make it to meetings you can email our President Shani Newkirk at firstname.lastname@example.org to find out how you can help out. Memberships are only $5 and we accept dues year round. You can find an envelope to fill out in the office or sign up in our Online store!

Shani's son Drake is in the third grade and this will be her fourth year as a member of the PTO. It is her first year as PTO President after 18 months of being PTO Treasurer. She works from home doing marketing, building websites and videos for social media.
Courtney is new to our PTO this year. She is a bookkeeper and she has five 5 children. Sean a sophomore, Kaidence an 8th grader, Ryleah a 3rd grader and Tia and Layla who will be entering kindergarten in the Fall at Broadway.
This is McKyndree's first year as a PTO member. Her children Atticus and Josephine will be in 4th grade and kindergarten next year. She has been a member of the Central Valley School District for a few years now as part of advocacy, and other parent groups in our community.
Jen joined PTO last year and this will be her first year on the board as Treasurer. She is well qualified for the job as she is as an accountant. Jen has three kids, two twins Nick and Ethan who attend Broadway entering into the 1st grade.
LaShara is a long standing member of the PTO but this is her first year on the board. LaShara owns her own business as a Nail Tech and works part time at a podiatrist office. She has two children Trevor who will be in the 6th grade and Dakota who is entering 3rd grade.
Lori has been principal at Broadway since the fall of 2011. She has degrees from Dartmouth College, Eastern Washington University, and Gonzaga University. She is married, has a big furry dog and two cats, and likes to run, read, and garden in her spare time.
Tabatha dedicated six years to being President of the PTO. She brought wonderful traditions to Broadway like the annual Back to School BBQ, the Barnyard Coin Drive and added Trunk or Treat to the annual Harvest Night. The PTO was nominated for the Meritorious Service Award twice and she herself was nominated last year. Thankfully Tabatha has decided to take a step back rather than stepping away and will still be helping with the PTO and staying on as a member of the board. She has three children Sam at North Pines, Ben who goes to Broadway as a 3rd grader and her youngest Jackson is almost two.
